first of all I genuinely have to say Lana, the store manager at the Airdrie, Alberta - CANADA location is definitely an asset to The Mini Mall Storage company. She made the process easy with zero stress and a pleasant communicator I might add! She also took the time to physically show me the unit to ensure I was happy with the size, cleanliness, assessibilty and that it suited my needs. Also, day of move in the maintenance man (sorry, don't remember his name) brought pallets directly to my unit to elevate my wardrobe containers off the ground. I was very thankful he did all the muscle work there for me. All in all...I'm a very "happy" customer with the service - thank you Lana for looking after me in such a kind, caring way! P.S. I forgot to mention, Kate on their help line. She was patient, kind and guided me through the review process. (I was having difficulty with the initial Google link). Mini Mall Storage which in fact is not Mini is by far the best storage company I have ever dealt with. We moved from Ontario to Calgary first thing I rented one unit in Airdrie at Esta Lake Road and it was incredibly a perfect deal we paid one month and got the second month for free! I recommend it to everyone. Last but not least I really appreciate Lana’s helpful and friendly attitudes. Best of luck everyone.

When I started renting here, it was great. Management were helpful and polite, and the rent was reasonable. About two years ago new owners came in, and decided they would get greedy and have been jacking the price up every few months. Not only that but they've instituted a new payment system whereby you cannot pay online until the 1st of the month! So unless you have an alarm on your phone to pay exactly on that day, they will start telling you you're overdue!! Very Scammy. I now pay more than $100 more per month than when I started!! There's really no overhead for this kind of business so clearly they've somehow mismanaged their finances and now are either making us pay for it, or they're just being extremely greedy and using Covid/inflation as an excuse....Inflation didn't go up 50% in the last 2-3 years, so where they get the idea they can just jack the prices up and simply send us a notice "oh hey, guess what? It's that time again, we're raising the prices for no acceptable reason." Have been renting here for years and years, now I'm disgusted by the greed, I'll be vacating as soon as it's convenient. UPDATE* So they're response is to simply say "Hey, everyone else is gouging people, we should too." The simple fact is, they purchased the property because it was profitable at the then rental income rates. Afterwards they decided to continually raise the prices to exceed their initial projected profits. They knew most people had no choice but to simply pay for the increase, and while they can say "that's just business", taking advantage of people by raising rent by 50% is just greed pure and simple.

The pavement outside the unit provided was horribly heaved and caused a few large expensive pieces of furniture to topple while trying to navigate the terrain. The roll shutter wasn't even connected on one end and was a bear to operate. When I emailed the issues, they offered another unit. Little consolation after spending $400 for movers to pack the 10 X 15 unit. I got over it until when initial concern about starting mid month, I was told they'd prorate my exit. I moved out on the 2nd of June but they said they don't offer any kind of prorated refund. So I asked for a unit back, heck, if I'm paying for a unit to the end of June, I may as well use it, but apparently I can't do that either. I certainly can't recommend, nor will I use Airdrie Mini Mall Storage again.

Run away from Mini Mall storage. I'm paying over 200 % of the initial rental with fees. A full 100% increase. Every 2-3 months there is another increase claiming they are striving for competitve rates. However if you shop around and compare apples to apples you will find these rates arnt competitive. You are paying for leaky, un-heated units, an extremely poorly paved lot with potholes and a history of gate issues and times where you can't access your unit for days or even weeks. I'm now expected to pay over 412$ for my unheated unit when I was paying 199$ before the current owners took over. I left a review earlier (which I since took down when they contacted me and gave me a free months rent and asked to delete my review). However I wish I had declined and left the review up. I would avoid this place at all costs if you intend to rent any longer then a month as the rental increases and the fee increases keep piling up and show no signs of slowing down. And they know you are less likely to move your stuff if they slowly bleed you out. I'm here to tell you that the hemmoraging will not stop. You need to throw a turnicut on or amputate all-together. Run away from this place. There is no value here. You will only find excuses, ever increasing rent, endless emails unprofessional employees using the company linked-in to look you up and anxiety. They try to tell us it's for security upgrades etc but then when asked about it they say it's about market rates. Every few months they raise the price.. this is for a non heated, leaky, poorly maintained premise with a history of gate issues. And then after emailing them, I noticed they are looking me up on LinkedIn!! Concearning to say the least. Creepy, absolutley. Professional? Hell no!!! I no longer have any trust or faith in this buisness Run away from this place. There are better units, with better management. Vote with your money people.

We still have not been able to get the local staff to contact, nor able to get any useful information like camera footage or records of key entry access. What’s the point of having coded access if you can’t trace anyone to it? Well, at the moment there’s a break in and the company isn’t on site or answering calls. Putting this here so maybe they’ll get a notification. Police have been notified, we’ll see who arrives first. I see the reply to my note however there has been no contact yet from the owner.
