I've been renting from the storage location for about 12 years now. They have new owners and you better pay your bill on the 1st or they lock you out. Other than that I appreciate the upgrades to the security system and being a little bit more professional. UPDATE 10/2023 Why do new customers get better storage rates? I followed some ads online, and on your website. Found, I'm paying about $50 more per month than you would charge a new customer ? ? Where is the "thank you" to your loyal customers ? Why play games with numbers to get them in, and then jack up the price ? I went from $110 a month for my unit that I've rented for 15 years. Since the new company took over I'm paying anywhere from $184 - $204 a month depending on if or who Auto bills my account. I have carried the same insurance policy on all of my stored items. Yeah it seems about every once a year or every 6 months they forget that and add insurance fees that are nonrefundable to my bill. They then require an updated copy of insurance. And it's up to you to provide it because they're going to bill you first without even asking questions. Even if you have insurance and have had it like I have for many years they will tack on the insurance fee either way saying it's nonrefundable. Things like that are slightly illegal. For instance if I had an incident where I had a loss. What that look suspicious if I was found to have two insurance policies ? Nobody in their right mind would think that I was innocent in this situation and it was totally due to a storage place that just likes to attack on fees. That's hypothetical but it shows a lack of integrity that I'm not comfortable with. Other than my few complaints I've enjoyed being that this location I do find it to be secure I love the hundred cameras they have installed and I feel safe having my personal belongings stored here. Lots of memories from my mom that passed in 2018 and things like this that I do not mind paying for. I just would like for them to be secure. I would like for them to stay dry, and the roof not leak ! All of these things are important to me. With all this said, I do think the new owners are a definite improvement over the former owners. The former owner was a crook in my opinion and I saw him several times going into people's rented units. I had my own personal unit gone through and I suspect it was the former owner right before he sold out. They would have auctions all the time if you were late a few days you would lose your stuff and it would go to the highest bidder. Those situations are so pathetic. There's a new storage place on Central avenue that doesn't have anyone working there just cameras and you do everything online. I had a second storage there for 1 month. While there I noticed that they were auctioning off late tenants units very quickly. And if you read the fine print, they do this a lot. It seems in the storage business there is a certain level of integrity that the owner has to adhere to. After seeing some of the things I've witnessed from other locations..... It's really so bad it makes me want to stop, and be grateful for the owners I do have. Enough said, overall I get a pretty fair deal. And I'm not going anywhere my business stays with Mini Mall. That's a place you can trust and feel safe with ?

Plus, I have 40k State Farm insurance that I've had since day one on everything in my warehouses. Yet, they still try and charge you every month for insurance which is worthless if the paper it's written on.......if you read it. Most don't. I cleared my stuff. Was out by the first. THEY LOCK YOU OUT AT MIDNIGHT ON THE 1ST IF NOT PAID. I had probably 100k In stuff there. The ONLY time you see anyone that works there is WHEN THEY COME TO SEE WHAT YOU HAVE WHILE DOOR IS OPEN. SO LOW HANDED ? What.......think your getting my stuff. It's my company of 20 years inventory !!! I do not feel comfortable having a corporate company with the only thing that they really want is for you to be late so they can take your stuff and auction at my things would have auctioned for a record price and I'm sure they knew it. FYI these people are still trying to contact me saying I owe them. I just sent them an email with a copy of them responding on the first day and it's okay we're good, we know you're gone. Despite advertising guaranteed security for peace of mind, our unit was broken into, and no discount was offered. We were told this happens to all storage facilities and nothing can guarantee security, despite a recent rate increase supposedly for enhanced security. I've been a customer for nearly six years and am now struggling to pay my storage bill, which has nearly doubled. There is no customer loyalty, and I still face aggressive late fees. This is the service you receive after years of loyalty. ??While recent reviews are positive, my experience differs. Customer service sounds great initially, but when personal issues arise, there's little actual support. True customer service is more than a friendly tone; it's about the services provided, which this company lacks. It took months for anyone to respond to my initial complaint, and even then, it took weeks after a misleading comment from the facility. I received a credit for one month, but no lasting improvements were made. I was also asked to revise my comment to benefit the area. Horrible security. The price keeps rising, and we've received nothing that's worth it! Most of my valuables were stolen, and they were horrible and slow through the process. We would offer to nothing for our losses. This has been the worse experience of using a storage unit. I have a disabled son and got behind on my unit with some medical bills. I called the facility to make payments and was told no, I had to pay the account in full or none at all. So since I was not able to pay the account in full I was not allowed to pay any money toward the unit. My unit was originally 59.99 a month. In a 3 month span, I have accumulate late fees, a new monthly insurance fee and not a auction lean fee, totaling up to $721.95. If you have your life in order and will not have life situations happen to you then you'll be fine because this company does not care about you, your property or trying to help you. Despite making arrangements to pay, I called to make a payment with some of the fees waived, now a different manager is saying no, we can't do that, despite it being notated on my account for over a month and being in constant contact to resolve this. This place has become a rip off since Mini Mall purchased the business
