My experience with Boardwalk Storage was beyond subpar. This location had a previous owner, and I personally never had any issues/complaints before now. Parts of the lease agreement seemed unprofessional (Ex. 14. Did you notice we skipped #13? Yup, that's how powerful we are. [...]) I felt the property manager could have been more professional -- when I went to sign the new lease agreement, they were holding a conversation on the phone via air pods. Before ownership changed, we had access to a large dumpster. It was removed without notice and we were not provided with any other option(s) for trash removal if we wanted to clean/declutter our units; however the rent was conveniently increased by $20. The policy for dumpster use (when it was available) was ridiculous (15. No dumping trash in the dumpster without management's prior written approval. Yup, you'll get charged another Cleaning Fee!) The office building was demolished without notice of any sort, and when I called inquiring about why we weren't notified, the property manager's response was "notified for what". I provided a 10-day notice not long after this last incident and never received a response. This experience left quite a bit to be longed for.
