The facility is fine, but they kept raising the price throughout the 6 months I rented from them. Administrative fees kept going up and it was a bit much. We ended up only needing it short term but it was kind of annoying how they advertise a low price but then get you with fees that make no sense.

Rented a unit and paid for online. While trying to access it I was not able to get into the gate at 8:45pm with a full truck. After contacting customer service I was told I had to pay another 18.76 in taxes and fees. I never had access to the unit! Signed contract and paid all fees. They will do whatever they want and not allow you access. Should have just went with the U-Haul unit and been done. At least they always have people on site to address issues. Edit: After trying to access the unit again I was unable to access the property. Contacted the posted number and talked to Justin, this was a great conversation. Justin was easy to talk to and completely understood where I was coming from. He was able to get me the correct gate code, the correct lock code. He also stated he will take care of the rest of the part about being over charged and promised 1 month free as the contract states since I was unable to access the unit until the first of the month. Thanks again Justin.

So far my experience has been horrible. Booked a storage unit online yesterday with the move in date same day and went through the lease process. Was also charged same day too. Within the lease it gives you a gate code and you get a separate email with the code to the lock on your specific unit. I packed 2 vehicle loads to go to the unit last night, to only get there and the gate code be completely wrong. I called the after hours number and was given a back up gate code so I could get in. This was right before 7pm. Once in, I then realized I needed a code to get into the door for the climate control units. No where in my emails nor lease agreement was a code for this door. I’m assuming the after hours number closes at 7pm as no one ever answered again so I’m left without a code to even get into my unit but yet was charged. Complete waste of 2 hours.

These people are crooks! DO NOT RENT HERE! Mini Mall was bought out by a crooked Canadian company and employs shady LIBERAL business practices and tacked on all kinds of fees to pad their GREEDY CANADIAN POCKETS! When they took over they sent us a letter that the new fee structure would now include a about $75 more in raised rent, a "processing fee" an "administrative fee" a "site maintenance fee" and worst of all the socialistic CARBON RECOVERY FEE!! Tell me Mini Mall, where is the carbon recovery apparatus?! Right, it doesn't exist! You Canadians are so gullible, but we Americans especially Tennesseans certainly dont appreciate you bringing those garbage profit padders here! Plus, I found out something else too, when you move in, they will pro-rate the remainder of the month if you say, move in on the 15th, then your 1st month is only charged as 15 days, BUT UPON MOVE OUT, even with appropriate notice, they WILL NOT PRO-RATE your last months rent, you pay to the end of the month, even if you vacate on the 10th you pay to the end, So what this means is they can rent out that vacated unit and charge double rent for that 1st month with the new tenant! Rent for the incoming person, and the outgoing one too! Then when we told them we were leaving all of the sudden they called us and wanted to offer us a 30% discount! What?!! I got NO PROBLEM with new owners taking over and even raising rents to accommodate new ownership but that's crazy! Sorry we will not ever be using them again and urge you to rent from an ethical local owner!

I’ve been renting with this facility for years. Always had on time payment and every time I’ve left and came back my units have always been pristine. Ever since mini mall took over this company, my rent has went up $20 even without the insurance! It’s ridiculous for a mediocre property. I signed a contract where my price was to stay $69 for a 5x10 now it’s $90 with all the ridiculous fees they’ve added? I’ll be ending my contract soon and moving my items somewhere else asap and they’re losing a long time customer.

Avez-vous une question?

A 10 x20 storage unit is around the size of a single car garage. We recommend this size for more significant self-storage needs, like freeing up space to stage your home, during a remodel or in between moves.

A 10×10 is about half the size of a standard garage. With the capacity to hold a king-sized bed, larger bedroom furniture, and oh-so-many boxes, the options for this unit are expansive.

A 5×5 is about the size of a walk in closet. While it’s small enough to easily manage household clutter, seasonal decor, and boxes, it’s also great for appliances, small furniture, and odd shapes like camping gear or sports equipment. Think of it like a walk-in closet that isn’t attached to your bedroom.

To rent a storage unit with Mini Mall Storage, you’ll need a valid form of government-issued ID, such as a driver’s license, passport, or provincial ID.

We do not allow tenants to store stolen or illegal goods in our storage units. Additionally, we disallow flammable or hazardous items, combustible items or liquids, plants, perishable goods, or animals. For additional and more specific information about what you cannot store, please contact us.

Drive-up storage units allow tenants to drive up to, load, and unload their storage unit. This is especially useful for transporting large items. Drive-up storage units are tall, convenient, and located on the ground floor so that you don’t have to navigate stairs or elevators.

Absolutely! It’s important to us that your belongings are protected. Therefore, we require all tenants to hold a valid insurance policy. Get covered with your own insurance plan and provide proof of coverage with your policy number, coverage overview, start date, and expiry date. Alternatively, we offer tenants coverage through our Mini Mall Storage Protection Plan. Speak to your Storage Concierge Specialist to learn more.

We do! Ask one of our storage specialists how you can get your discount.
