Shoutout to Larissa at the Mini Mall Storage - Covington location. Very helpful, and made the application and move-in process a breeze. Couldn’t have asked for a better experienced. Such a fun, happy, and welcoming office crew and positive atmosphere. My moving stress and worries were forgotten the moment I entered the office hearing nothing but laughter and saw all smiles!

In April 2023, like much of Covington, Mini Mall Storage got hit with the EF3 tornado. Since then they have repaved the storage parking area, repaired all of the fencing and electronic gates, repaired the storage buildings, and installed new cameras lighting and security system. Karmen, at the front desk, has been extremely helpful. She is very patient and easy to work with. She helped with the paperwork, allowed me to pick the particular parking spot for my RV, changed my gate code multiple times (haha), and setup my monthly auto-pay so I don’t have to worry about forgetting about it. In a world where good help can sometimes be hard to find, she has exceeded my expectations. I can highly recommend checking out Mini Mall Storage if you need storage space.

I have stored my belongings at this location for almost 2 years and I must say that I have never had a single issue. When the tornado ripped through the storage facility, I was notified immediately about the status of my unit. Despite living across the country, I was assured that things would be taken care of and I received frequent updates on the repairs being done to my unit. I recently came into town on a last minute decision to move my belongings out of my unit. I arrived on the 30th and contacted Karman asking her if I could finalize my “Move Out” so that I wouldn’t be charged for the following month. Without hesitation and with less than a 24 hour notice, she finalized the move-out and I wasn’t charged. I have been dealing with Karman and Emily for quite some time (at times in less than ideal situations) and I have had NOTHING but positive, professional interactions with them. There’s a level of professionalism that deserves recognition and those ladies deserve that and then some! I recommend anyone in the Tipton County area to use Mini Mall Storage. After seeing a few negative reviews, I must say that as long as you are a RESPONSIBLE ADULT and keep them up to date on your banking info and phone number, you will not have a single problem!

Emily has been the steady hand since APC was bought out by Mini mall. She provides excellent customer service and exudes all great qualities that you would look for in a customer service rep. She handles business in a timely manner, and always follows through with any questions or concerns. Without her daily presence, I would be lost, and I am so thankful that she was able to ease the burden of this whole transition. She is a gem, and I'm so glad that she is always able to assist me in any matters necessary. Our units hold very valuable things, and I can tell that Emily is compassionate and cares and wants to be sure her customers are well taken care of.

Emily is very friendly, professional, and was very helpful! I love always coming into my storage at the Covington store to pay my monthly bill!

Horrible business tactics. They hold your things hostage all the while increasing late fees by the day. No exaggeration. They charged 20$ late fee per DAY. Totally unethical business practices and mainly ILLEGAL business practices!!! They also are not ever available to meet either in person or on the phone. I’m literally going to wait by their building and video them as I try and get answers. May call the police on them as well for theft of property.

We rented a storage before it was taken over by Mini Mall. Never had issues until they took over. Cost went up, customer service is horrible. We had a tornado in our area in March. They asked us to wait until clear to enter. Never received any communication as to when we could go back in. Ended up paying an additional 2 months because I was unable to get in. I cleaned out my storage the middle of May after telling Karmen in April that I would be out by the end of May. When I received an email the first of June that I was past due, went to the office because no one would ever answer at the location. Karmen was not only rude, but she was hateful because I interrupted her leaving at 420pm when they close at 530pm per the sign. Will NEVER rent from them again. When I called to speak with a manager, no one ever called me back. Horrible service.

When I first entered Mini Mall Storage (the Brighton location) in September 2022, the rate was $60/month for a 10x20 locker plus 20 for insurance. I received an email this morning stating thay the rate has gone up. It increased by NEARLY 300% TO A TOTAL OF $153/MONTH, NOT INCLUDING INSURANCE. If you want to use this storage company, which I do not recommend in ANY capacity, be aware that your rates will almost certainly skyrocket for no reason. The reason given is "due to inflation and increase of costs." Your costs did not increase threefold. Mine did. You lost a customer.

When the company APC Storage were there everyone was professional and very nice. Everything went smooth no issues what so ever. Since this company have taken over it sucks!!!! Some of the staff is very rude as well as unprofessional. They charges us an additional $19.99 monthly for paying their insurance for the company. APC never charged us anything additional. They changed the gate codes without notifying the customers. There were 6 to 7 people if not more were trying to get in yesterday and no one codes worked. This is so unacceptable and very disheartening to the people that pay to keep that place running. We called leaving messages without any replies back. "Let us not make the payments they wouldn't like that. like that

Mini mall bought out APC storage. Unfortunately, our payment information was lost in the switch and we were NEVER NOTIFIED that our payment information did not transfer during the switch until 3 months later when they were ready to auction our stuff off. That should have never happened. There were several customers complaining of this when we went in to give them our payment information. Corporate was zero help. It’s fine though, we will be getting all of our things and never recommending this facility. ? They will probably reply saying they contacted us, I guess if two days before they called to say they were auctioning our stuff counts… ????? no contact for the three months prior.

They bought APC Rentals, who I used for a year before they started business. I was on automatic payments the whole time. When they bought the company, my payment information never transferred, and there was absolutely ZERO communication about being late for my payments until they called to tell me that they were going to auction off my unit. They charged me 2 months plus $175 auction fee. That is not okay.
