The folks at this storage facility are very friendly and accommodating, especially Emily. I was moving from out of state and she was very helpful. Within a few minutes, she had me all set up in a climate controlled unit that was large and the monthly rate was very reasonable. This place is nice. It's not run down like I've seen in other places. It is well-maintained and I feel confident that my property is in a nice place and will be taken care of.

I had a unit with a PC years and years ago I moved out of town and when I came back and needed a unit again I went right back to them but since they have sold the company to mini mall storage, you can't get anyone to call you back I've been locked out of my unit on two separate occasions for several days when I needed in to get equipment for a job for the weekend they no longer have 24 hours accessibility I don't understand why not when they've gone up in price on two separate occasions since I've owned the company and it hasn't even been six to eight months. If you rent from them and you have a problem don't expect anyone to call you back. I always had the automatic payment but since mini-mall took it over they no longer can accept my credit card so I have no choice but to retrieve the cash from the ATM and be charged a fee. I went to pay my rent this month and was informed they will no longer be accepting checks or cash. I looked at the girl and said you have got to be kidding me she assured me that she was not. The fact that there is no one on the premises even during regular business hours is concerning... The property is definitely not as clean and neat as it once was. You have to go all over town between Munford, Atoka, Covington and Brighton trying to find someone at a location. I read some of the reviews about the friendly staff well I haven't met one yet. Being a return customer to APC of almost 4years and 2 years prior, very sadly disappointed with Mini Mall I would not recommend them.

There is no way this business has 4.1 stars. I started renting from them 2.5 years ago. In that time, the gate has been broken many times, and my monthly payment has increased no less than four times. They added storage insurance without explanation or a way to opt-out. I called to speak to a manager and received a call back from a vulgar lady in Covington named Amy, who told me her solution was for me to give ten days' notice and move out. I called back and asked for a call from upper management to complain about the rate increase and Amy’s poor attitude. Late Friday, I finally received a call from Brian, who was obviously in lower management bc he called me from a blocked number. I told him I wanted to give him my email address and wanted him to send me an email so I could file a complaint against Amy, and I have yet to hear from anyone. I filed a complaint with the BBB, the local Chamber, and the state if Tennessee. I placed a post on Fans of Atoka and had 59 negative comments About Atoka Mini Storage and several inboxes from customers who received the same treatment. I, along with several other unhappy customers, have agreed to be interviewed by a local Memphis news station. PLEASE STAY AWAY FROM THIS BUSINESS

Let me start with the price increase that I was not notified about. I rented for 8 months and then in December I tried calling to cancel and find out any details that I needed to be able to move out. It was at that time I was notified that their had been a almost $30 increase to my payment starting in November.. I was unable to reach anyone in office or higher management. I finally was able to get a call back on 1/5/24 and I was told I couldn't move out for 10 days per the lease, never mind the fact I had been trying to call since mid December to get those specific details and put my notice in. I was told to wait for a call back to see if their was a correction to the January payment, since I had been trying to call for almost 2 weeks prior, They told me someone would call me back that day 1/5/24. THEY NEVER DID. That Saturday I go to my unit to find my code has been locked out! The whole point of the return phone call was to get a balance for January since I would be moving. I was never able to get in touch with someone until I found a number for the call center. After 6 calls to the call center that Saturday. I had no choice per the call center to pay a full months rent bc they refused to take my request to move out in the month of December. Call center said they only did requests to cancel on the 20th of each month and then they said it was 10 days before move out. SO what was the process??? I did have a manager finally call me back on the 8th to discuss the facts regarding me being forced to pay a full months rent bc no one would take my request to move out. It is now the 24th and after multiple calls to the office I have never got a call back, a voicemail or even a text about resolving this issue. Funny how I tried to contact someone for 3 weeks to put a notice in but after the manager told me it never takes 3 weeks for a call back.. Here we are 3 weeks later no call back... Would not recommend them! I moved storages to a company in Covington and save $100 a month for the same size storage unit and a MUCH NICER company to deal with!

Absolutely the worst customer service I have ever dealt with…… and I worked in retail. I called at the beginning of November to cancel my lease and was told to take a picture and email it to the email adress they gave me. And believe it or not December first rolls around and I’m being charged $180.90 for a storage unit I’m no longer using. I’ve tried calling the phone number several times waiting on hold listening to the most annoying hold music I’ve ever heard trying to figure out why they are trying to charge me when I canceled the lease. Whenever apc owned the units I never had this issue. Whenever mini mall took over it went downhill fast. My storage unit used to cost around $99.00 now it’s doubled. After trying to reach the company several times and being sent to voicemail over and over I’m done. 0/5 stars. Mini mall you have failed this town.

As with many of the reviews, this storage area used to be decent, then it changed hands and went down hill from there. Routine hikes in rent and limited access. More times than not, the gates don't work, sometimes only one (of the three) function which makes you wonder if you'll even be able to get your vehicle back out (if you can get in). There were times when the gates were just left wide open which allowed anyone to gain access to this storage area. I personally witnessed at least 2 vehicles just slowly driving around within the premises when I was there, obviously not current renters. Why were they there? Who knows but we pay for a secure storage area, not one open to everyone when they can't seem to get the gate operating properly. I rent a unit that is (currently) advertised at $225.00 a month, it is 300 square feet (10X30). That means it cost me more (square footage wise) to rent a concrete slab with metal walls and no lighting or ventilation then it would to pay the monthly mortgage payment on a a 2,800 square foot home. Trying to call them is, well, just don't, there is seldom anyone there to answer the phone, they won't return your call(s). They operate via one way communication. Usually, the "office" on site is unoccupied. I wouldn't address my issues with the people that work there anyway as they are just employees. Someone is laughing all the way to the bank. Count their occupied units, add all the monthly fees collected and you'll soon realize just how much money they are bringing in each month compared to their expenses. I understand a business has to make a profit but their fees have become WAY too high. This is Tennessee, not New York City.

I called Atoka and they said I owe over $1000? They hit me with 4 $200 lien and auction fees. these folks are after your money. worst place I've ever dealt with. Will not explain the fees or work with you at all. DONT DO IT
