Easy sign up, monthly billing is great alway clean and tidy. People are awesome also very helpful and friendly.

Happy with my climate controlled storage unit. Upon arrival I was able to use the code to get into the gate ok, but unable to get in the building. The office is closed on Sunday, so I googled a main 1-800 number & customer service was excellent, they were able to get me a new code with no problems.

As a former employee, Mini Mall's takeover of 24 Hr Self Storage in January 2023 ruined everything I held dear about this property (and the others). Through the years, I had put too much of myself into the former small business to continue to witness the treachery of Mini Mall's takeover. I was optimistic for new opportunities and improvement, but ended up disheartened by how the new owners do business. I am still proud of what I accomplished and proud of the positive reviews left prior to 2023. Nevertheless, Ashlee, Jamie, and area manager Andy are the best people you could chose to deal with. They'll do all they are able to make your experience the best they can. The maintenance associates keep the properties clean, well lit, and safe. There are unique codes to access the entry gate and buildings. Units are routinely treated with bug and rodent repellents. Break-ins are uncommon- usually domestic issues. Despite Mini Mall's internal culture being what it is, this is a secure place to store your things.

Clean, safe, and secure! Very happy with our experience. Staff was also very friendly and helpful! Would rent there again if I needed to.

I cannot say enough about 24-Hour Self Storage. They are super customer service oriented and just all around nice people. Every trip into the office was pleasant and any questions I had were answered immediately. The rental process was smooth and when I had to upgrade to a larger unit, they made the transition as smooth as possible. I even got friendly help when my car decided not to start when I was there!!! These are genuinely nice people, the facility is well kept, and I would (and have) recommended them to anyone. If I am ever in need of storage space again, I will head straight back there.

This company advertised 1 amount for the size unit I wanted. When I got there it was nearly double what was advertised. They tried to charge me a months insurance every week. I just got a new bill for nearly triple what I was quoted because I had to keep calling them to fix the problems they created. I have had nothing but problems from this company over something as easy as renting me a storage building. Let me remind you they are doing this during the worst disaster the area has seen. They are crooks or simply don't know what they are doing. Either way there are much better places to rent in johnson city Reply : I spent 2 weeks trying to get this straightened out and you charged me extra for getting help..go sit down!! I'll be in there in the next couple days to let you rob me to get my stuff back.. you're thieves you don't take accountability for anything and your business is awful you're not going to make it. Buyer beware!!!! Go anywhere else!! My husband and I give these people $200 monthly for a unit that's supposed to be $105.00. some how they say we are always behind. BULL!!! Then they hold your stuff hostage. We will be vacating this week. Guess what?? Paid them $200 and they want more!!! Their math isn't mathing. Almost a year and I've given them $2,000 in 10 months!! I don't write reviews but please beware The unit is under Hillman if the owners actually care to look at our account. Every time my husband pays you, you tack on more saying we are behind. I have the bank records!!! Don't pay cash, keep a record!! Not trust worthy.

Because I couldn't get ahold of anyone to let them know, so l called their number many times, leaving messages, any email or text messages that came from them l replied back saying l no longer needed the unit, and still haven't heard from anyone, and now l was actually being charged with a late fee?????????? I initially started with the original owners. At that point I thought the cost was reasonable. However, once Mini Mall Storage took over, I felt the costs were unreasonable. Also the fact that my unit was almost stolen from me by someone cutting my own lock and putting their lock on my unit left me very unsure about the security of the units. Never heard of that happening before Mini Mall took over. I retired so I had to reduce my monthly expenses so one of my 2 bedrooms is now my Storage room. I feel I removed my stuff just in time. Because I might have lost it all due to lack of security!!!

Horrible company, business when I started with these guys it was a different owner, mini mall bought them out, increased the rates, slams you with late charges charged to your account every single day making it almost impossible to get out from under it I was on auto pay for over 3 years missed my November payment due to being in hospital, the staff was very supportive and assisted with the late fees until the manager told them no, no credits....the staff quits the local Johnson City office January 2024 due to how they treat their customers If a company doesn't take care of their customers or employees doesn't matter how long you have been a customer Here we are going into Feb my last payment was end of December and they already have my locker scheduled for auction Nobody with minimall storage can even tell me if my things are in my unit because they have no staff?? Be careful if you do business with these shady people they're awful....I'm running like hell if I could get in touch with management....I'm praying I don't have to hire a lawyer over this mess

Has increased the rent from our original agreement at $138/mo to over $174/mo with next to no communication and no visible upgrades to the facility. I am unable to find a single email alerting me of these rogue price increases. Would avoid unless you enjoy surprise bills and unreasonable prices for a 10x10 box.

This place used to be great, but the new owners keep raising rent, which I can understand, but now tacking on fees on top of that rent. Rent of 142, but after fees it's 155 and change. Let alone, they have now tried to tack on insurance twice, even though my renters insurance has been on file and covers my storage unit. The staff here has worked to get those charges removed, but the fact that it's happened twice in under a year. Come spring, I hope to get out of this unit and they can have it. I moved into it I think in 2014 at a rate of 70 bucks a month, and in that time it has doubled in cost.

I had an account with this location before and moved out of state, a friend of mine took over unit because he needed it. So I came back to rent another unit and they refused to rent to me. They say that they want my business but refused to rent to me and was always faithful to them. No southern hospitality this time around.
