I am writing to express my extreme dissatisfaction and frustration regarding the security situation at Citizen Storage, 3417 Fontaine Rd. As a long-standing customer, I have entrusted the safety of my travel trailer to your establishment, yet it has been stolen three times in the past two years. Each instance has been accompanied by a blatant breach of security, with the facility gate being damaged and left vulnerable for prolonged periods, enabling criminals to enter at will. It is unacceptable that despite repeated incidents, the necessary measures have not been taken to prevent such occurrences from happening again. The consistent failure to maintain and repair the gate promptly has only facilitated further thefts and jeopardized the safety of all tenants' belongings. Furthermore, the lack of additional security measures in place during these vulnerable periods is deeply concerning. The absence of security patrols, or any other deterrents leaves our valuable possessions exposed and vulnerable to theft. I urge you to take immediate action to address these issues and enhance the security protocols. This includes: 1. Prompt repair and maintenance of the facility gate to prevent unauthorized access. 2. Implementation of additional security measures such as surveillance cameras, security patrols, or improved lighting to deter criminals. 3. Regular monitoring and inspection of the premises to ensure the safety and security of tenants' belongings. 4. The temporary gate that was put in place has no purpose, it is open 24/7. As a paying customer, I expect nothing less than a secure and protected environment for my property. Failure to address these concerns promptly and effectively will force me to reconsider my continued patronage of your facility and pursue alternative storage options. I anticipate your prompt attention to this matter and a comprehensive plan of action to prevent future security breaches and theft incidents. ******* Lies from the Owner ****** Immediate Security Response - No sure their definition but I have been to the facility numerous times and there is no security there after hours. The gate remained down for over 3 months!!! I have the site manger on tape when ask if they have anytime of security patrols or random checks and he said he was unaware of any service. Increase police patrols - maybe - that is just a call to the local police and if they have time in between the numerous murders, car jacking, and thefts they will try and stop by - not a complaint on them at all the owner should be protecting our stuff not he police. Since asking for a refund of my prepaid lot rental of where my RV was stolen i was told refund was in the mail - 3 months later and it has not arrived......

Citizen storage let allowed some people to live in the unit before which caused roaches in the unit which traveled back to my home. I had to personally come out of pocket for that! Never received any type of discount or anything. Light fixtures going out and being out for months but they claim they do weekly or daily walk throughs. Prices continued to rise by almost $100 over a span of a little over a year. But nothing new or cleaning is being done. Been a loyal customer but will be taking my business elsewhere because this company is NOT CUSTOMER FRIENDLY. They do not help you at all and are not understanding of any situation. They charge you fees out of nowhere. Despite they have not notified me at all. If I received a email before I should have received one this time as well. I don’t care what mail you sent to an address. Keep one effective line of communication. You’re better off putting your things somewhere else. They’re just going to keep raising the price to now your paying $200 for a on d $90 storage unit.
