A tight-knit community with a rich history in hockey, Swift Current is home to over 18,000 people. The town is home to annual events and festivities, such as the Frontier Days festival that takes place in late June, which includes activities such as rodeo events, live music, a town wide-parade, and much more. Fun fact: the town is home to the longest pedestrian bridge in the entire province of Saskatchewan. The Sid Buckwold Bridge was built in the 1930s and spans over the Swift Current Creek.
